This just in from Melissa—Virginia kitties need a home! (I met them, they’re cute. In fact, Hazel was almost mine years ago).

    I want! I want!

Why is Melissa giving them away? They are so cute.

Oh my god, they are so adorable!!!!! Nice faces, fuzzy, so friendly looking. They will be so sad to leave Melissa & Rob’s…

I would take them, but Virgina to Michigan is really, really far and I don’t think they’d be used to our winters, even if I did keep them inside. They have birdie watching all year down there, and we don’t. It would be sad. They’d be so bored.

Those kitties are super cute. How can they part with them? 4 is not too many!!!

Although, some would say I’m becoming a crazy cat lady. Cat owners – do you sing songs to your cats or does that fall in to the “cat-lady” field?

  4. MelHow Says:

It’s not that we don’t want the kitties (In fact, I am rather attached to them). It is that Raja torments Daisy (did I mention we have two other cats). Plus, four cats is just a lot of cat and if we start having babyhows that’s too much for one house. AND if SCBob would take the extras off our hands then we could start working on those babyhows a little sooner. Hint, hint!

I feel your pain. I have an indoor cat. I took in a friend’s indoor cat that he was getting rid of (asshole), and the two of them nearly killed each other. After two months of constant bloodshed, pee and puke, I finally gave the new one to my parents. Now both cats are much happier.

I am well on my way to a third cat.

  7. Megan Says:

Yeah, my mom sings “Where have all the birdies gone?” (to the tune of “Where have all the flowers gone”) when winter hits and Winston just sits near the window looking sad, wanting them to come back so he can harrass them.

On the outside, we’re normal, but behind closed doors, we are a really strange family. I can accept this.

by the way, it’s not like we are giving them away, we’re just trying to get my parent’s to take them.

And as often as I threaten to put all four of them in a box marked “Free Psycho Devil Poop Machines!” I’d like them to go to mom and dad otherwise I’ll keep the bastards.

Raja is what results from a 20 year old college boy getting a kitten. Warped warped warped. I can walk around holding that thing upside down.

I have songs for all of the cats. Words and tunes vary daily. Hazel’s song is to the tune of Secret Agent Man. My sister is the same way though so I think it is a cat person thing.

Michele, I can arrange that third cat for you. Just pick out the one you want!

Can you tell it’s Rob’s job to scoop the poop in our house?

if those cats prevent or in any way hinder the activities requisite for making babies, no one is gonna want to take them.

  13. MelHow Says:

They don’t hinder the activities but do you really want a cat that likes to sleep on heads, faces, necks, etc around a baby? We would end up a made-for-TV movie, “The Cat Smothered Our Babies: The Tragic Story of the BabiesHow.”

  14. robert Says:

If LifeTime Television makes the TVMovie, I know that they’ll find a way to blame me.

“The Cat Smothered Our Babies: The Tragic Story of the BabiesHow and That No Good Husband Who Did Nothing but Drink Beer and Smack Around WifeHow.”

  15. Megan Says:

You must of seen that Saturday Night Live making fun of Lifetime TV, right? So funny.

  16. robert Says:

Yeah, the SNL skit is what was going through my head when I wrote that.
