   i had a friend one time tell me that you can tell a lot about a city based on it’s public transportation. he said that as we were in a subway station in boston standing in a puddle of god only knows what waiting for a train to get to he bus terminal so we could take a bus home after i had just totalled my car trying to go to a concert…

   i’ve kept that bit of advice in mind as i’ve travelled other places. montreal was sorta gritty but decent, better than new york…

   i love how every subway station in NYC has it’s own smell. it’s own STRONG smell…

   toronto was nice, pretty clean from what i remember, but that was high school…

   and DC is the cleanest best maintained public transit system i’ve ever seen in my entire life…

   They are clean here, that’s for sure. And the people act the way the subway looks. They’re polite and shit, no one runs into the door right when it opens, knocking anyone in their way down. Unlike New York, where it was every man for his own, fuck the people in the way.

   I agree, nifkin.

   London was sort of crummy, I remember. It looked nice but was gross as the seats were carpeted. that’s just nasty. Boogers and pee and stuff. Gross.

   Paris was so-so as well.

   I never saw LA’s.

   I loved the smell of the DC subway stations. I don’t know why. NY was NOT the same way. My 2 girl friends and I were masturbated at in a NYC subway station. Our innocent Michigan eyes…scarred for life.

    I was masterbated at in NYC Grand Central and on a Philly bus. The Philly guy looked like a mini Bruce Springsteen. I told the bus driver, but then the guy followed me off the bus and tried to talk to me. Luckily the driver was super nice and made me get back on the bus. whew.
