Are you up this early?
October 8th, 2004 at 06:10 AM
nope, just up past midnight. (Wrote this last night.)

That’s you that smells like cardboard?
I thought it was my box.

Now there is an opening that could only get me in trouble!

I meant to write “feel”. Hence the change. I do apologize now, girl27, for seemingly making you look crazy.

Apropos of nothing: my 5 year old started kindergarten this fall and LOVES doing his homework. He literally wriggled with delight when he completed it the other day and said “I’m going to get a shiny star!!”
His favorite game to play with me now is “Guess a bigger number.” Whoever says a bigger number wins. He learned pretty quickly that he has to make me go first. The things that entertain a 5 year old!

Perfect. Thanks! :)

I liked homework, but that’s because of its package. I absolutely, totally and completely adored trapper keepers.

I’m still snickering scbob’s comment about how girl27’s opening could get him in trouble.

gotjesus…don’t teach your son “infinity.”
that always takes some of the fun out of it.
October 8th, 2004 at 07:49 AM
infinity still freaks me out a bit. I’d be happy knowing things do eventually end. tho, writing that out sounds quite morbid.

I feel like I’m made out of gingerbread. Uh huh, uh huh.

Calvo … he knows infinity but gets more pleasure out of beating me by one because he gets a better reaction from me … “802?? Oh! I was so close!!”
